RALEIGH — Gov. Bev Perdue answered questions on a wide range of issues during her final year-end roundtable with reporters.
She claimed to have identified enough cuts to balance all but $900 million in the state's impending $3.5 billion deficit.
In this portion of the press conference, she discussed the campaign flights controversy, the possibility of vetoing an expected bill to lift the charter school cap, a legal fight over Alcoa's ownership of dams in North Carolina, and financing for the Global Transpark in Kinston.
