    Federal data: Women admitted at higher rates at most UNC schools

    Women who applied to UNC System schools were admitted at higher rates than men at 10 of 15 campuses in 2024, according to a new analysis of federal education data. The gap was widest at NC State, where 46% of female applicants were admitted compared with 38% of men.
