Labor union organizers in North Carolina have turned in recent years toward an increased focus on “social justice” messages. They’ve also focused more attention on the public sector than private industry.

Those were two key themes from Capital Associated Industries chief executive Bruce Clarke’s speech Monday to the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society. In the video clip below, Clarke discusses the use of national issues linked to “social justice.”
