Below are a few recent stories that caught my attention. One of the more amusing recurring bits of news is media attempts to prop up the Biden administration. It’s not going well, obviously. Even Chuck Todd of NBC said Democrats face a “shellacking.” Well over two-thirds of Americans say the country is headed in the wrong direction.
Woke North Carolina medical student who is trans rights activist brags about deliberately injuring patient who mocked her she/her pronoun badge by missing his vein so he had to get jabbed twice
What happened to the Hippocratic oath? I would hope somebody this twisted and demented is not allowed to practice medicine in this country. Unfortunately, it’s not clear from the article that there are any real consequences for this med student’s agenda-driven style of patient care. Doctors treat patients all the time that they disagree with or are even disgusted by—and they do it to the best of their ability. I once asked a doctor before a delicate procedure if he believed in the Hippocratic oath and he said, “Of course. It’s very important to me.” I’m sure it was the drugs talking that they pumped into me right before I went under but it was still a nice reassurance. Maybe we can’t just assume that anymore in woke America though.
PETA urges NFL to call audible on term ‘horse-collar tackle’
PETA has moved on from changing “bullpen” to “arm barn” to another important mission. I know PETA does this for fundraising and attention purposes but it’s too good not to highlight. “Mister Ed” would approve, I’m sure. Remember that show?
Americans should budget an extra $5,200 this year to cover rising prices, Bloomberg economists estimate
The poor are always hardest hit by government inflationary policies. On top of that, inflation is a tax and it wipes out savings and investments, making it much harder for the middle class to retire. The insatiable appetite to keep up the profligate spending and piling on debt will only make the situation worse going forward. You can’t continually print money without devaluing the dollar.
MSNBC, CNN, WaPo and more worry about Biden’s poll numbers, fret that he isn’t getting enough credit
It seems like there is going to be a lot of worrying for corporate media going forward since President Biden’s policies don’t work.
Demand for panic rooms costing up to $1MILLION in crime-ridden LA is soaring after string of celebrity robberies: One project included a secret escape tunnel to Malibu beach
What about getting tough on crime? It worked in the 1990s.
