Andrew Pomeranz is a public policy reporter for the Carolina Journal. His reporting focuses on state government, legislative developments, and policy issues affecting North Carolinians.
Before joining Carolina Journal, Andrew gained experience in government relations, public policy, and legislative affairs at both the state and national levels. He worked with McGuireWoods Consulting during Virginia’s legislative session and with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C.
Andrew earned a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Christopher Newport University, double-majoring in political science and economics with a minor in leadership studies.
