Douglas Lee Lauen is a professor of public policy and sociology at UNC Chapel Hill, including as a faculty fellow with the Carolina Population Center and a research fellow with the Educational Policy Initiative at Carolina. Lauen received a PhD in sociology and a master in public policy from the University of Chicago.
