Matthew Rybnicek is an intern at the John Locke Foundation. Matthew grew up in Shelby, North Carolina. Upon graduating undergrad at NC State with dual degrees in economics and Spanish, he will his masters in international studies. Prior to joining the John Locke Foundation, Matthew interned in private equity and in humanitarian work in London and Prague, working for companies such as KKCG and the Karel Komarek Family Foundation. Outside of school and work, Matthew enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with friends.
