Ronald Trowbridge is a senior fellow at the Center for College Affordability and Productivity. A former chief of staff to U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren Burger and the Commission on the Bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution, Trowbridge served as vice president of Hillsdale College in Michigan. Trowbridge was director of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the United States Information Agency, in charge of the Fulbright Program. He taught as a university professor for 14 years and founded the Maine Heritage Policy Center before moving to Texas. He holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Michigan.
