Brenée Goforth is the Marketing and Communications Associate at the John Locke Foundation. Before joining JLF, she worked as a fellow at the D.C. based nonprofit Institute for Justice. There, she fought to protect the rights of everyday Americans by aiding them in their grass-roots efforts.
Brenée graduated with greatest distinction (summa cum laude) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received her honors bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She authored her honors thesis on the politics of Medicaid expansion. While in school, Brenée was a legal research intern, a human resources assistant at UNC School of Law, and an America Counts mathematics tutor.
