Federal Appeals Court officially ends FTC fight with Novant over Iredell hospitals

A two-sentence court order Wednesday officially ended the Federal Trade Commission’s legal battle against Novant Health over the purchase of two Iredell County hospitals. Novant dropped its proposed $320 million purchase in June after the FTC secured an injunction against the deal.
