VIDEO: N.C. NAACP Protests Wake School Board Assignment Policies

RALEIGH — Activists disagree with the board's decision to end the socioeconomic diversity policy of busing kids to schools around the county. The activists call the decision racist and say without the policy Wake County schools will return to segregation. During the march and speeches following the march protesters chanted,"Forward Ever, Backward Never."
