Second law enforcement group backs Budd over Beasley

The N.C. Police Benevolent Association announced Wednesday their endorsement of Republican Congressman Ted Budd in the race for U.S. Senate. In 2020, the NCPBA supported Budd's now opponent, Democrat Cheri Beasley, in her 2020 race for N.C. Supreme Court chief justice. She lost that race by 401 votes.
