Federal case in Charlotte light rail killing delayed after hearing

The federal case against Decarlos Brown Jr. will be put on hold after a judge agreed Tuesday that Brown is not competent to stand trial in connection with the 2025 killing of Iryna Zarutska on Charlotte’s light rail line.
