Trump approves Emergency Declaration ahead of NC ice storm
President Donald Trump has approved an Emergency Declaration for North Carolina ahead of a potentially catastrophic ice storm this weekend, with the aftereffects lasting well into next week.
“Our message to North Carolina is simple: this is a serious storm, and we are taking it seriously, and so should you,” said Democratic Gov. Josh Stein at a media briefing Friday morning.
