VIDEO: N.C. Medicaid Expansion Could Lead to $6.4 Billion Hit in Personal Income Growth
RALEIGH — Countering arguments that Medicaid expansion would benefit North Carolina’s economy, a new report from the national group State Budget Solutions estimates that expansion actually would lead to a $6.4 billion hit in future personal income growth. The report's author explained his findings during a presentation Monday to the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society.
