Lenoir County women plead guilty in $180K COVID fraud case

Two Lenoir County women have pleaded guilty to mail fraud in a case the US Attorney’s Office describes as a $187,000 COVID fraud scheme. Each faces up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine when they are sentenced, according to a news release Monday.
