NC Appeals Court will not take up Asheville’s slander suit against private company

North Carolina’s second-highest court has dismissed a private parking company’s appeal in a lawsuit filed by the city of Asheville. City officials claim that ParkMobile slandered the city by misrepresenting Asheville’s affiliation with the private firm.
