Riggs sits out oral arguments, will help decide SCONC cases heard Tuesday

One of the seven seats on North Carolina’s highest court sat empty during oral arguments Tuesday. But the full seven-member state Supreme Court will decide cases on the court’s docket for the day. Justice-designate Allison Riggs missed the arguments while completing her work as a state Appeals Court judge.
