RALEIGH — The free enterprise system plays a critical role in our lives, but students in middle and high schools encounter very little useful information about free enterprise. That’s the contention of the Wingate University economist who has developed the new “Free Enterprise Now” curriculum. He discussed his work during a speech Monday to the John Locke Foundation's Shaftesbury Society.
