DENR Wants to Seize Waterfront Property From Heirs

RALEIGH — Should the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources acquire the property, the Perdue administration would be in the unusual position of seizing land that originally was intended to serve as a vacation resort for African-American teachers.
