Lindberg asks NC Supreme Court to block ruling against him in insurance case

Former top N.C. political donor Greg Lindberg is asking the state Supreme Court to block a recent state Court of Appeals ruling against him. The intermediate court affirmed in June a trial judge’s decision holding Lindberg and associated defendants “liable for breach of contract and fraud.”

NC Appeals Court deals another legal blow to former NC political donor Lindberg

As former top N.C. political donor Greg Lindberg awaits a federal retrial on bribery and fraud charges in November, the N.C. Court of Appeals delivered him another legal blow Tuesday. In a case titled Southland v. Lindberg, a unanimous Appeals Court panel affirmed a May 2022 Wake County Superior Court ruling against Lindberg and multiple associated companies.
