Whistleblower report blows the lid on VinFast vehicles safety

A British whistleblower has been fired over his alleged claims that VinFast vehicles can fall apart while driving, causing serious injuries or death, as in the case of a family of four from California that were killed earlier this year. The state of North Carolina is spending hundreds of millions of dollars on the car maker's Chatham County manufacturing project.

Chatham County official optimistic despite latest VinFast delay

While there appears to be another setback for VinFast after announcing Friday that they plan on delaying the opening of its $4 billion factory in Moncure, Chatham County, until 2028, a county official still has confidence that the project will come to fruition.
