Trump picks North Carolina leaders for key roles in next administration

Former President Donald Trump announced two major appointments from North Carolina to his administration set to take office in 2025. Among the nominees, Daniel P. Driscoll has been tapped to serve as Secretary of the Army, while Michael Whatley is poised to return as Chairman of the Republican National Committee.

State of the NC-1 race one month out

Much of the media's attention in North Carolina's 2022 U.S. congressional races has been on the open U.S. Senate seat and the N.C.-13 race, both of which appear to be tossups.
