Poll: Partisan divide widens on Iran war

North Carolina voters broadly oppose ground troops in Iran and are split on whether the US was right to launch military action there, according to a new poll from Catawba College. Meanwhile, former Gov. Roy Cooper holds a 14-point lead over Republican Michael Whatley in the early US Senate race.

Stein expresses concern, recommends vigilance on Iran war

Concern continues to grow this week as the attacks on Iran by the US and Israel continue. US Northern Command (NORTHCOM) ordered “heightened security” at all US military installations, including those in North Carolina. Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, Marine Corps Air Station New River, also in Jacksonville, and Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point have all stepped up security.
