One bill would require the president to direct FEMA to remove debris from real estate owned by homeowners’ associations and condominiums. It is the latest in a line of actions the NC congressional delegation is taking to push the fed to provide relief in western North Carolina.

Republican North Carolina US Sens. Tillis’ legislation to fund SBA disaster relief is blocked by Paul

US Sen. Rand Paul, R-KY, blocked a unanimous consent vote in the Senate Thursday on legislation that US Sen. Thom Tillis introduced last month that would refill the now depleted Small Business Administration’s disaster relief loan program, which ran out of money on Oct. 15.
