Cooper out of the running for Harris’ VP pick

North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper is out of contention for a possible vice-presidential pick as Kamala Harris has reportedly narrowed down her list to three possible choices to run with her. Cooper said Monday night that it "wasn't the right time" for him to be on a national ticket.

Report: Cooper floated as possible VP pick in Harris presidential scenario

North Carolina Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper was recently named as a possible replacement for President Joe Biden if he decides to no longer run for re-election in November, but now Cooper is being considered as the first choice as a running mate for Vice-President Kamala Harris if she were to become the nominee.
