Judge wants more information in Carrboro suit against Duke Energy

The North Carolina Business Court judge overseeing Carrboro’s lawsuit against Duke Energy wants more information before deciding whether to dismiss the town’s complaint. Judge Mark Davis issued a two-page order Thursday asking the town and the utility to file new briefs next month related to the issue of “traceability.” The order arrived after Davis conducted a hearing on Duke’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit.
