There’s a wide range of opinions about the best way to improve education in North Carolina. But a business-led group hopes to lead the way in finding common ground among advocates and activists of all political persuasions.
Business for Educational Success and Transformation in North Carolina, or BEST NC, has been compiling data on N.C. school performance and seeking ideas for improvement. Brenda Berg, the group’s president and CEO, highlighted BEST NC’s findings during a presentation Monday for the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society.
