A Winston-Salem surgeon is heading to court to challenge a state law that blocks him from purchasing his own MRI scanner. Dr. Gajendra Singh says that certificate-of-need law forces his patients to seek overly expensive MRI scans elsewhere.
Singh and Institute for Justice attorney Josh Windham discussed the suit during a speech Monday to the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society.
