Raleigh, NC – A subcommittee is finishing its final report to North Carolina’s General Assembly on exploring for offshore energy.
One of its primary recommendations will be that more study is needed before taking any definitive steps. The committee does express an urgency to not be left behind neighbors like Virginia and South Carolina. However, the committee says the state has more questions than answers right now.
