Raleigh, N.C. – The North Carolina Republican Party fielded candidates in all 50 state senate districts and 110 of 120 state house districts. It’s the largest field in memory for most political observers.
The field is fueling Republicans to dream of winning a majority in at least one of North Carolina’s chambers this November. However, Democratic leaders see chinks in the Republican armor and say their majorities are safe.
