To ensure state constitution literacy in North Carolina, the John Locke Foundation’s North Carolina History Project and the N.C. Institute for Constitutional Law developed the educational series, The State of Our Constitution. The three-part series explored the history, enforcement, and interpretation of the state’s governing principles and examined why the state constitution is important to North Carolinians.
