    In revealing, sometimes emotional, testimony before the N.C. House Oversight and Reform Committee, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Director Bob Schurmeier described a culture of political strong-arming from the senior staff of Gov. Roy Cooper; interfering with his ability to manage direct reports, efforts to intimidate him with threats, and calling for his resignation.
