Lawsuit: Big Media and Big Tech conspired to block COVID news

An anti-trust lawsuit was filed this week against legacy media giants and big tech companies for their collusive agreement to shut down anti-vaccine coverage during the height of the COVID pandemic. Associated Press, Reuters, BBC, Washington Post, Meta, Microsoft, and Google censored coverage questioning the safety and efficacy of COVID vaccines.

Federal Appeals Court will hear Stein’s case against N.C. criminal libel law on Dec. 6

The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments on Dec. 6 in N.C. Attorney General Josh Stein’s challenge of a state law against campaign lies. Stein hopes the federal courts will declare the law unconstitutional. A 2-1 ruling from the 4th Circuit on Aug. 23 gave Stein and fellow plaintiffs an injunction against the law. The injunction blocked Wake County District Attorney Lorrin Freeman’s office from pursuing criminal charges against Stein and two colleagues.

Split 4th Circuit panel grants Stein injunction against criminal charges linked to disputed N.C. law

In a split 2-1 ruling, the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has granted N.C. Attorney General Josh Stein an injunction that will likely help him avoid criminal charges linked to a controversial 2020 campaign ad. The injunction blocks the Wake County district attorney from taking any action against Stein or his associates “pending further order of this Court.”

U.S. District Judge Catherine Eagles has issued a temporary restraining order blocking legal action against N.C. Attorney General Josh Stein in a dispute stemming from a 2020 election campaign ad.
