RALEIGH — The Governor's School of North Carolina fosters an atmosphere in which students have minimal supervision and are engaged in a learning environment that emphasizes a liberal world view, some students and parents allege. But most alumni of the program, and officials who work at Governor's School, deny there is bias and vigorously defend it.
