Report: North Carolina ranked 10th worst for healthcare access
North Carolina was recently ranked the 10th worst state for healthcare access, according to a report by Forbes Advisor.
A proposal last week by the N.C. Healthcare Association to the North Carolina General Assembly to modify certificate-of-need laws was more of a twig than an olive branch, according to Senate Leader Phil Berger, R- Rockingham.
The battle to preserve the state’s certificate-of-need laws is about to get personal.
