Politicians and policymakers spend much of their time talking about the best way for government to fight poverty. A new group called the Better Yes Network takes a different approach. It’s focusing on groups outside government that target poverty in various ways.

Network co-founder Joe Coletti described the group’s work during a presentation Monday for the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society. In the video clip above, Coletti discusses a key component of poverty that must be addressed.
