This month’s election results were important but not necessarily “transformational,” either in North Carolina or the nation as a whole. That’s a key takeaway from John Locke Foundation Chairman John Hood’s analysis of 2016 election returns.

Hood shared that analysis during a speech Monday to the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society. In the video clip above, Hood uses an illustration to demonstrate the small shifts that helped flip the presidential election from Democrats in 2012 to Republicans in 2016.
