Raleigh, N.C. – The new federal health care reform law continues to spark protests. A group gathered outside the General Assembly on Wednesday when legislators returned for the short session.
Their goal was to pressure lawmakers into allowing a bill protecting North Carolinians’ right to choose health care to reach a vote in both chambers.
Democrat leaders who control the legislative process said it’s unlikely the bill will see the light of day.
