Katherine Restrepo, John Locke Foundation health and human services policy analyst, analyzes Time Warner Cable poll results dealing with the Affordable Care Act. The poll showed 56 percent of registered voters judged the law unsuccessful, while 42 percent called it at least somewhat successful. Among those with strong opinions, those who labeled the law “not successful at all” outnumbered those who called it “very successful” by a 39-13 margin. Asked about their personal experiences with the Affordable Care Act, negative experiences topped positive ones by a 30-19 margin, with about half of those surveyed indicating that they had not had a personal experience with the law.
