Citing security concerns, several counties across North Carolina, including Wake, don’t plan to send election results from polling places electronically to the county election boards. Instead, county election workers will collect results from each voting machine, delaying reports until late evening May 8 or early morning May 9.

Carolina Journal will offer full coverage of the results from the congressional and legislative primaries statewide when they’re available.

Check back with CarolinaJournal.com for those results.
