Susan Pollitt is a senior staff attorney at Disability Rights NC, leading the criminal legal team. Susan specializes in defending the rights of people with disabilities who are incarcerated. A native of Chapel Hill, Pollitt earned her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law. Among other accolades, the NC Bar Association recognized her in 2018 with the Deborah Greenblatt Outstanding Legal Services Attorney Award, and NC Equal Justice Alliance recognized her in 2022 with the Julian T Pierce “Pillars of Justice” award.
